Here sits the progess log from May 2015 onwards. My name is Rob Tyler and I began playing golf in 2001 at the age of 8, we can thank family idol Tiger Woods for that. So my dad took me up our local golf club for some lessons and I was soon yomping around the 9hole pay-and-play with my dad. In my bag? A meridian 8iron and putter. I could get round 9holes in 100+ shots.

Now you'd think that if we fast forward 14years I'd be a dab hand at golf. Sadly this is not the case as after being a member at Boars Head Golf Centre for 5years I gave up the sport persuing other interests in my life; mainly music.

Now a near decade on I've returned to the sport. In the meantime? Well my older brother Matt followed in my footsteps whacking the little ball around the course. He now resides as Director of Golf at Sweetwoods Park in Cowden, Nike Ambassador and runs his own teaching business under MT Golf.
How about dad? We still head out for 18 together and he's playing off a handicap of 17. "I've got time to get better when I'm retired"
